Assistant Professor (6 Posts):
Disaster Management (2), Education, Law (3)
Posts Against Lien Vacancy (Likely to be regularized):
Associate Professor: Economics, Punjabi and Dogri
Assistant Professor: Computer Engineering and Robotics, Library and Information Sciences, Sanskrit, Visual Arts
Posts Against Leave Vacancy (Purely on contract basis):
Assistant Professor: Computer Science and Informatics, Library and Information Sciences
Note: The university reserves the right to change the number and nature of posts/vacancies. Posts against lien/leave vacancy may be terminated if the incumbent returns.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must possess the prescribed qualifications and experience as per UGC Regulations, 2018 and amendments. Key requirements include:
For Professor:
Ph.D. in concerned/allied discipline with 10 research publications and total research score of 120
Minimum 10 years teaching/research experience with evidence of guiding doctoral candidates
For Associate Professor:
Ph.D. with Master's degree (55% marks)
Minimum 8 years teaching/research experience with 7 publications and research score of 75
For Assistant Professor:
Master's degree with 55% marks
NET/SLET/SET qualified (exemptions for Ph.D. holders as per UGC norms)
As per UGC Amendment Regulations, 2021, Ph.D. is not mandatory for Assistant Professor direct recruitment
Note: A relaxation of 5% in marks is allowed for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD categories. Detailed eligibility for specific departments (Disaster Management, Law, Computer Engineering, Kashmir Studies) is available in the official notification annexures.

In-Service Candidates: Must upload NOC from employer with clear specification that no vigilance case is pending.
