Eligibility Criteria
For Professor:
Eminent scholar with Ph.D. in concerned/allied/relevant discipline.
Good academic record with high quality research publications.
Minimum 10 years permanent and continuous teaching/research experience.
At least one doctoral student awarded Ph.D.
Minimum API score as per UGC Regulations, 2016 (Appendix-III Table II-B).
For Associate Professor:
Good academic record with Ph.D. in concerned/allied/relevant discipline.
Master's Degree with at least 55% marks.
At least 8 years permanent and continuous teaching/research experience (excluding Ph.D. period).
Minimum API score as per UGC Regulations, 2018.
For Assistant Professor:
Master's Degree with at least 55% marks in relevant subject.
Must have cleared NET/SLET/SET.
Ph.D. holders are exempted from NET requirement as per UGC Regulations, 2009.
For Librarian:
Master's Degree in Library Science/Information Science with at least 55% marks.
At least 10 years permanent experience as Librarian or teaching in Library Science.
Ph.D. in Library Science/Information Science.
Evidence of innovative ICT-integrated library services.
For Dean of Students' Welfare:
Master's Degree with minimum 55% marks.
At least 15 years permanent experience in teaching/administration, with 5 years in a University/PG institute.
OR 15 years administrative experience with 8 years as Deputy Registrar or equivalent.
Age not less than 40 years (relaxable for exceptionally qualified candidates).
Ph.D. desirable; expertise in Behavioral Science preferred.
For Sister Nivedita Chair Professor:
Eminent scholar with Ph.D. in Education or allied disciplines (Social Sciences/Physical Sciences/Life Sciences/Bengali/English/Sanskrit/History/Philosophy).
Outstanding research publications.
At least 10 years experience with one doctoral student awarded.
Note: 5% relaxation in marks for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/PwBD categories.

Selection Process
Shortlisting will be based on qualifications, experience, and API scores as per UGC Regulations.
Mere eligibility does not entitle any candidate to be called for interview.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
The selection process will strictly abide by the reservation policy of the State Government.
OBC-A & OBC-B candidates must produce a ratification certificate (non-creamy layer) if their caste certificate is more than one year old.
