Professional Assistant:

• Essential: M.Lib.Sc. / M.LI.Sc. with 50% marks

• Desirable: 3 years’ experience + knowledge of library software

Semi-Professional Assistant:

• Essential: B.Lib.Sc. / B.LI.Sc. OR Graduation with Library Science as a subject (50% marks)

• Desirable: 2 years’ experience + software knowledge

Senior Library Attendant:

• Essential: 12th Pass + Certificate/Diploma in Library Science

• Desirable: 3 years’ experience + 6-month computer course
