Eligibility Criteria

• Master's degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in the concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University or equivalent from an accredited foreign university (relaxation of 5% marks to 50% for ST/SC candidates at Master's and Bachelor's level).

• Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC/CSIR or similar accredited test like SLET/SET, or been awarded a Ph.D. degree in accordance with UGC Regulations 2009/2016 (and amendments).

• Exemptions from NET/SLET/SET apply for candidates with Ph.D. awarded as per specific conditions (including pre-11 July 2009 registrations meeting certain criteria), or Ph.D. from top-500 ranked foreign universities (QS/THE/ARWU).

• Age Limit: Up to 30 years (relaxable to 35 years for ST/SC candidates; up to 37 years for APST candidates with further 5 years relaxation as applicable; additional concessions for PwBD and regular Arunachal Pradesh Government servants per rules).
