Eligibility Criteria
For Assistant Professor (A or B):
A.
Master’s degree with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in the concerned/allied subject from an Indian University or equivalent accredited foreign university.
Must have cleared NET (UGC/CSIR) or SLET/SET, OR be a Ph.D. degree holder as per UGC Regulations 2009/2016 with the following conditions:
Ph.D. awarded in regular mode
Thesis evaluated by at least two external examiners
Open Ph.D. viva-voce conducted
Two research papers from Ph.D. work published (at least one in refereed journal)
Two papers based on Ph.D. work presented in conferences/seminars sponsored by UGC/ICSSR/CSIR or similar agency
B. Ph.D. obtained from a foreign university ranked among top 500 in QS, THE, or ARWU (Shanghai) at any time.
For Assistant Librarian:
Master’s degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science with at least 55% marks
Consistently good academic record with knowledge of library computerization
NET/SLET/SET qualification OR Ph.D. as per conditions mentioned above

Selection Process
Screening/Shortlisting: Based on a 100-point scale evaluating academic record (Graduation, Post-Graduation, M.Phil., Ph.D.), NET/JRF/SLET/SET, research publications, teaching/post-doctoral experience, and awards.
Interview: Shortlisted candidates (up to 30 per post for first position, 20 for second, 10 for subsequent posts) will be called for interview.
Final Selection: Based solely on interview performance (screening marks have no weightage in final selection).
